1. Freight & Transport Services Agreement
All goods carried by Towells Bulk Haulage Ltd are transported under the Road Haulage Association (RHA) Conditions of Carriage (latest edition), unless specific written contract terms have been formally executed between the company and the customer.
2. Vehicle Demurrage & Site Access
Free waiting time allowed at collection and delivery points is 60 minutes per consignment unless otherwise specified in your contract quote. Any loading or unloading delays beyond 60 minutes attributable to site access or facility downtime will be subject to standard demurrage rates.
3. Waste Carrier Compliance & Transfer Notes
As an Environment Agency licensed upper-tier waste carrier, Towells Bulk Haulage requires accurate Waste Transfer Notes (WTN) or Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes prior to loading non-hazardous or regulated waste streams.
4. Payment Terms & Commercial Accounts
Spot transport services require pre-payment prior to vehicle dispatch unless an approved 30-day commercial credit account has been authorized by our finance department.
